TDS CURRICULUM
As it is the basis by which all forms of dance are built, ballet is required for all students. Tuition fees are based on the number of hours dance taken per week. Each dance season (September - June) is billed in 9 equal monthly payments. Thomas Dance Studio offers a generous family rate, as well as custom packages for the intermediate and advanced level student .
Early Childhood Program: This program is designed for our youngest dancers, ages 3-6. The classes are age specific and are based on appropriate developmental skill. The Early Childhood Program introduces children to dance with an emphasis on creative movement foundations, coordination, balance, classroom etiquette and having fun in a positive, nurturing environment.
Enrichment Combo Program: Dancers learn in an environment that builds self-esteem and confidence, where they will be positively challenged as they progress through each level. Parents and students will feel a sense of confidence, knowing the students are learning skills that will help them be a success both inside and outside of the classroom. Training in this division is perfect for students who want dance education to be a treasured life experience.
Intermediate & Advanced Program: Continuing Education for more experienced students. Placement in Ballet Study is by invitation only.

ANNUAL RECITAL
Each student is showcased at the end of each dance season in our professionally presented recital in the beginning of every June. Additional performance opportunities throughout the season are available through membership in ENCORE! Dance Company.

- 3 & 4 Year Olds (45 min Class) Basic ballet elements are taught with the use of correct ballet terminology. Class also includes stretching and beginner tumbling.
- 4-6 Year Olds (1 Hour Class) Basic ballet elements are taught with the use of correct ballet terminology. Class also includes beginning tap dance.

- 5-7 years old (2 Hours/Week) Class includes 40 min. Ballet, 40 min. Tap & 40 min. Acrobatics per week.
- 6– 11 years (2 Hours/Week) Class includes 1 hr. Ballet & 1 hr. Tap Class per week. This level is for a student who has danced for at least one year and is (as determined by the director) ready to transition into a full hour of both Ballet and Tap.
- Pre-Teen/Teen Ballet and Tap Combo Class (1 Hour/Week)

- Acrobatics/Tumbling (Ages 6 & Older) – Additional Hour of Acrobatics/Tumbling
- Jazz (Ages 7 & Older) – Additional Hour of Jazz
- Hip Hop (Ages 8 & Older) 3 Class Ages (8-11) (11-14) (14 & Up). Placement determined by the director.
